DadCam Rentals is a family business. Bryant and Jess founded it in 2016, alongside their wedding film studio Nightfox Films, to rent out hand-picked, bench-tested Sony and JVC camcorders. We ship kits nationwide from Jamestown, NY, so any couple can have real vintage footage of their wedding day.
I have been hooked on cameras and storytelling since 2015. I spend my weekends filming weddings with Nightfox Films, and DadCam is the home movie side of that. Every camera we ship is bench-tested by me, so the heads are clean and the internal batteries are fresh.
I started DadCam because every couple deserves that grainy, nostalgic footage of their wedding day without gambling on an untested camera from eBay.
Hi, I am Jess. I have had a camera in my hand since my grandparents started stocking me with disposables as a kid. I moved from Minnesota to Jamestown to film weddings with Bryant and never looked back.
Bryant handles the technical side. I look after the experience, so your kit arrives looking perfect and your footage comes back to you without any fuss.
Our oldest. Chrys helps edit your films and packs the cameras that ship to you, which makes DadCam a three-person operation on a busy week.
Every camera gets a 10-point inspection with professional signal meters, so head health and recording stability are checked before it ships.
Vintage media lives in climate-controlled storage, and internal batteries are replaced on a schedule to prevent failures in the field.
High-capacity batteries, memory, and a prepaid return label are standard in every kit. Nothing else to buy.
We film weddings ourselves on Super 8, vintage camcorders and modern digital. The Signature Glow is our house look there, which is how DadCam started.
